Good substitute for real Java beans

Particularly when it is on sale, this is a very good buy for those who like a Mocha/Java blend. Ethiopian Mocha is impossible to find, but some is available on occasion from Yemen. I use other different Ethiopian beans most of the time. So too, proper Java beans are virtually unobtainable; this dark roast Sumatra is my go to substitute. As with all the Salt Spring coffees there are some more expensive alternatives, but organic fair trade Sumatra or other Indonesian beans are not easy to find. Recommended!

Clearly not the real Sumatra smell and taste

Clearly not the real Sumatra smell and taste … a bitter taste which prompted me to throw it away

Delicious and low acid

I'm prone to ulcers and heartburn and this coffee has great flavour with little acidity. YUM
