Today we’re raising our shots of espresso in celebration of our 18th Birthday! In 1996 on Salt Spring Island Mickey McLeod and his wife Robbyn Scott had a dream to share fresh-roasted, organic coffee with the world. Today, Salt Spring Coffee can be found in over 300 cafés, restaurants, and grocery and specialty food stores.

Through those years we’ve remained committed to working closely with farmers who grow high quality coffee across the world, push the standards of sustainable business practices and grow our team of expert baristas, roasters and coffee lovers.

Turning 18 is a great occasion to celebrate – and what better way to get nostalgic and reminisce over the years than to create a mixtape. Sure, in 1996 we would be releasing a special edition cassette or mix cd. But with the magic of 8tracks you can stream a collection of songs inspired by #10amcoffee through your device and into your morning.
