Cartems on Island Time
From August 7 to 14, Salt Spring Coffee is teaming up with Here There to bring Vancouverites Island Time, a week-long pop-up experience with a Truly West Coast flavour. Between now and then, we’re chatting up a few of the fine folks you’ll be seeing there to find out what “island time” means to them.
Meet Jordan Cash, owner of Cartems Donuterie
Cartems Donuterie makes handmade donuts daily from scratch without mixes, stabilizers or preservatives. For our Island Time pop-up, Cartems has perfected a few special-edition flavours to tickle your taste buds. Stop by the Little Mountain Shop between 11:00am and 8:00pm daily to check them out!
Q. What can people expect from you at the Island Time pop-up?
Good vibes, fun times and—of course—super fun flavours. We love any chance to create something unique!
Q. Why did you want to be part of this event?
We have a long-standing relationship with the great people at Salt Spring Coffee, first and foremost. And secondly, we also have worked with Lizzy [of Here There] before and she does great things!
Q. What does “island time” mean to you?
Being horizontal, sunshine, off-the-grid, waves.
