Earnest Ice Cream on Island Time
From August 7 to 14, Salt Spring Coffee is teaming up with Here There to bring Vancouverites Island Time, a week-long pop-up experience with a Truly West Coast flavour. Between now and then, we’re profiling a few of the fine folks around the city who will be adding their own special “island time” touch to the event.
Earnest Ice Cream
Our Island Time Cold Brew Bar & Confectionary will be serving up old-school cold brew floats featuring Salt Spring Coffee Cold Brew and Earnest Ice Cream paired with special-edition mini doughnuts by Cartems. Stop by the Little Mountain Shop anytime between 11am and 8pm for a taste. Here’s what’s on the menu:
- Tiger Style: Citrus Cold Brew + Cardamom Ice Cream + Orange Pistachio Doughnut
- Snowcap: Vanilla Cold Brew + Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream + Vanilla Sugar Doughnut
- Lakeside Classic: Classic Cold Brew + Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream + Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut
- Campfire: Nitro Cold Brew + Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream + S’more Doughnut
Since 2012, Earnest Ice Cream has been sharing its small-batch ice cream in classic and seasonal flavours with eager Vancouverites. They’re serious about flavour and the environment, packing their pints in reusable glass jars. Basically, they’re our kind of people.
