We are starting to feel autumn coming. The cool evenings, the fall light, afternoon coffee dates…. but our summer of #canopybird still continues!
#canopybird, our awareness and fundraising campaign for Canopy, an award winning organization that protects ancient and endangered forests. The campaign is a part of our 1% for the Planet program and is inspired by our collective passion for sustainability, love of coffee as well as our desire to spark creativity and conversation. Alongside drinking our Canopy Bird coffee, and creating a 21 Day Action Challenge, we are thrilled to be launching our Create for #Canopybird project this fall!
Earlier this summer, we hand-picked a group artists in the community and asked them to do an original take on a paint-by-numbers print – one that tells the story of the work that Canopy does (protecting ancient forest and species) and the work we do at coffee origin (birds of the coffee forests). The assignment was accepted, and the work created is exceptional. But the story doesn’t end there…
On October 2nd, join us for the Create for #Canopybird Art Auction to launch the collection of these art pieces and auction them off to lucky folks like you! All money raised from the auction event will go directly to Canopy and their efforts in Canada, with a focus on the Great Bear Rainforest.
The event is free to attend but you must RVSP on Eventbrite before October 2nd.
